Krishna Bahadur Kunwar - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Krishna Bahadur Kunwar has MA degree in 1979, Bachelor of Law in 1975 (Advocate, Nepal Bar Council – license no. 665), and BA in 1973. He has more than three decades of banking and rural development experience in various capacities with the Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. (ADBL). As deputed in second hierarchy, Deputy General Manager (2002- 2007), he was involved in the ADB project on Strengthening Selected Rural Financial Institutions and led in the formulation of five-year Business Plan and Annual Plans in line with the Restructuring Plan of ADBL. He has experience of Secretary, Board of Directors (1991 - 1994) too in ADBL. 
He has experience of working in different capacities in some organizations: including as Member, Board of Directors, Global IME Bank Ltd. from 2008 to 2011 and 2013 to May 2014. Similarly, he took responsibility of Chairman, Nepal Housing Development Finance Company 2004 – 2006; Advisor, Rural Entrepreneurship Development Program, Industrial Entrepreneurship Development Institute 2004 - 2006; Member, Nepal Consultative Committee, IWMI, 2004 - 2006; Member, Board of Directors, Alternative Energy Promotion Center, Ministry for Science and Technology, 1998-99; Member, Board of Directors, Cottage and Small Industries Development Board, Government of Nepal 1998-99; Member, Steering Committee, Western Terai Poverty Alleviation Program, Ministry of Local Development 1998-99; Member, Steering Committee, Micro-Entrepreneurship Development Program/UNDP, 1998/2005; Member, Board of Directors, Herbs Production & Processing Company 2001-2002; Member, Board of Directors, Nepal Tea Corporation, 1998. He has also worked as Secretary, Governing Body, Nepal Bankers' Association 1992-1995. Also, he has also experience of a Member of The Gurkha Villages Aid Trust, Wales, U.K. 2001-2006. He is an ordinary life Member of Nepal Council of World Affairs.
He has experience of working on Post-Conflict Social Reconstruction Project, Ministry of Peace and Reconstructions, Government of Nepal, 2007-2008. He was honored to participate as an invitee member in the High Level Peace and Reconstructions Committee headed by the Minister for Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction. In addition, he has experience of an expert and consultant in the projects assisted by international organizations including UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, IFAD and others. He has participated trainings organized by national and international organizations.
He served as a Visiting Faculty Member, Central Department of Rural Development, Tribhuvan University (TU) 2004 - May 2014 and also as an Advisor, Energy Development Center, Institute of Engineering, TU 1999. He was placed as a Third Winner (Integrated Rural Development through Cooperative Lease Farming in Nepal), the Raanan Weitz Project Competition, Israel in 2010.
He has authored publications including  : Shishtachar ra Sajagata (Etiquettes and Alertness) 2013; Nepalma Grameen Bajarikaran (Rural Marketing in Nepal) 2011; Rural Development in Developing Countries 2010, The Himalayan Poverty: Prosperity Through Rural Development 2003;           Nepalma Garibi ra Grameen Bikas (Poverty and Rural Development in Nepal) 2003; Garibi ra Samudayik Bikas (Poverty and Community Development) 2007; Nepalma Grameen Karja (Rural Credit in Nepal) 1997; Nepalma Sansthanko Kanuni Sthiti (Legal Status of Corporations) 1986. Two were approved as reference book for the MA (Rural Development), TU whereas Shishtachar ra Sajagata was approved as a reference book by Curriculum Development Center, Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal.
