MSME loan

Locate Branch

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is integral part of Nepalese economy. The MSME segment is growing day by day in every part of the country and need of fund for working capital requirement and capital investment always exists. To cater the funding requirement of the MSME segment, this product is designed for providing fund in form of overdraft and term loan according to customer's requirement. 

Purpose

  • To finance MSME's working capital and capital expenditure requirement. 

Features

1. Eligibility

  • New or already established firms/partnership firm/ company/institutions subject to conditions as stipulated in NRB Directive 9: Paid up capital: upto 50 lakhs, Fixed assets: upto 5 crores, Engaged in production or service sector, Self engagement of the business owner

2. Business Type

  • Proprietorship Firm, Partnership Firm, Company

3. Target Customer

  • MSME segment engaged in production and service sector

4. Financing Criteria

  • OD loan maximum upto 70% of working capital requirement subject to coverage of collateral
  • Term Loan upto 80% of project cost subject to coverage of collateral

5. Loan Amount

  • Minimum Loan amount: NPR 3 lakhs
  • Maximum Loan amount: NPR 1 crores

  • Land and Building and other Intangible securities

8. Nature of Facility

  • Revolving 
  • Non-revolving

9. Tenure

  • OD/Working capital loan shall be revolving in nature and will be provided for 1 year and shall be renewed on satisfactory performance
  • Term Loan shall be non-revolving in nature and shall be provided for 5 years

10. Repayment Modality

  • Interest of OD loan shall be monthly or quarterly
  • EMI or EQI in case of Term Loan

Required Documents

  • Duly filled loan application form of bank
  • Photograph and Copy of citizenship of applicant and the guarantors
  • Copy of PAN certificate
  • Copy of registration of the business
  • Last two years audited financial statement and three years projected financial statement
  • Latest tax clearance copy
  • MOA, AOA, Board minute if the borrower is company
  • Partnership deed, if borrower is partnership firm
  • Other related document as necessary
