This product aims to provide the financial assistance to jobless educated individuals to start a business related to the skill development training obtained by them.

Purpose

  • To provide financial support to jobless educated individuals to start a business related to the skill development training obtained by them

Features

1. Eligibility

  • Individual should have minimum academic qualification of Bachelor degree
  • Age of the individual 18-40 years
  • In case of degree from Foreign University, such university have included in the equivalent list published by any Nepali University
  • At least 7 days of training from government body like Department of cottage and small industries, vocational and skill development training center, CTEVT. Individual having bachelor’s degree of technical field related to the business and has operated or willing to operate such business, no such training is required.

2. Business Type

  • Individuals, Proprietorship, Partnership firm

3. Target Customer

  • Educated individuals willing to start their own business

4. Loan amount

  • Maximum loan amount to be NPR 7,00,000 or as prescribed by NRB from time to time

  • 5% Interest Subsidy

7. Collateral 

  • Original Academic certificate and certificate of training obtained

8. Nature of Facility

  • Non-revolving 
  • Revolving also available in the name of proprietorship or partnership firm

9. Tenure

  • Maximum tenure of 5 years

10. Repayment Modality

  • EMI or EQI in case of Term Loan
  • Monthly or quarterly interest in case of OD facility

Required Documents

  • Duly filled loan application form of bank
  • Photograph and copy of citizenship of applicant and the guarantors
  • Copy of PAN certificate and registration of business
  • Partnership deed in case of partnership firm
  • Summary of project regarding operation of business and utilization of loan
  • Self- declaration of not blacklisting as per CIB
  • Detail of net worth of guarantors
  • Map of the applicants’ residence and property
  • Other related documents as necessary
